Loneliness
Read an article in the papers yesterday about this reporter getting a call from a stranger who kept on talking and talking non-stop to him about her problems. The reporter lamented that life is making many people feel lonely, and getting lonelier as years pass. And it is this loneliness that contributed to the success of the 1900- call clubs, where people pay exorbitant money to talk to strangers.

HAve you ever gotten so lonely and bored that you just want to pck up the phone, and randomly dial a number and just talk to someone, anyone? Had an urge once, but cannot decide what random number to dial, and hence the story ends here.

But somehow in the pursuit of work, and making more money, we just detach ourselves from our dearest family and friends. So once in a while, when one finally stop to rest, and just want to go out with family or friends, you discover that they are busy with their own stuff. Or if fortunate enought to go out with them, you discover that conversation will just go on for 15- 20 minutes, and then trail off to silence; the uncomfortable time of not knowing what more to say....
